The Wakening was started in June 2014. The first draft was completed in October of the same year. The next few years included lots of edits, learning, promotion and networking. Around 2018, I had kind of gotten stuck in deep edits and restructuring and needed to take a pause. Little did I know that pause would last until 2025, when my now teen daughter would read it and be my inspiration to finish.

I’ve always been excited to share updates along the way and now is no different. I am truly energized by the love and support of my family – thank you all! Hopefully this roads leads to a hard copy of this book which is near and dear to my heart!
